What is league soccer?
NSSC participates in the Illowa league. 8 games are played over a 12 week time frame in the greater Quad Cities area. 75% of the games are usually in this area, with a few games sometimes scheduled in Muscatine, Dubuque, Freeport, Geneseo.
Should I tryout?
Yes! There are no obligations from attending a tryout. It is a chance to compare your skills to others thare interested in playing.
I’ve played Dads Club - is that good enough?
Travel soccer is a natural progression from Dad’s Club. If you have a good base of skills, love to play the game, and are in decent athletic shape, you’re ready for travel soccer
Isn’t league soccer about being ultra comptetivie?
No, it is a chance to improve your game and have fun. The focus is on development and enjoyment of the game.
